We believethe Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life (II Peter 1:21; II Tim. 3:16-17).
We believethat there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; one in essence and equal in every divine perfection (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:13-17; Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14).
We believein the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (Jesus is God), in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the grave, His ascension into heaven, His high priestly ministry, and His personal imminent return in power and glory (Matt. 1:18-20; John 1:1-2, 14) (I Cor. 15:3; II Cor. 5:21; Rom. 3:21-26) (Matt. 28-1-10; Acts 1:9; Heb. 7:25-28) (I Thess. 4:14-17; I Cor. 15:51-53; I Thess. 5:9; Rom. 5:9).
We believe We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and was separated from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and in practice become sinners in thought, word, and deed; that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation, and that salvation is not by any human merit but is a free gift of God's grace by personal faith in Jesus Christ alone (Gen. 1:26-27; 3:1-24; Rom. 5:12-21; Eph. 2:1-6) (Eph. 2:8-9; John 1:12; 3:5-7) (John 10:27-30; Rom. 8:31-39).
We believein the resurrection of the saved and of the lost; of the saved, into everlasting life and fellowship with God, and of the lost, to eternal conscious judgement and separation from God. There is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell (Jn. 14:2,3; Rev. 20:11 – 22:5).
We believein the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is sealed until the day of redemption, and by whose filling, the believer is empowered to live a godly life full of the fruit of the Spirit and evidenced in a believers teaching, service and bold witness of the Gospel of Christ (II Thess. 2:7; John 3:6; 16:7-11; Rom. 8:9; Eph. 4:30; 5:18).
We believethat because all power and authority in heaven and on earth has been given to the Lord Jesus Christ, He has sovereignly directed His church (the Body of Christ) to evangelize (preach His gospel of Good News) and edify (make disciples of) people of every nation. It is therefore the work of every member of the body of Christ to carry out this great commission (Mark 16:15; Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).
We believe that the Scriptural ordinances of the Church are Baptism and the Lord's Supper (communion) ; baptism is a public testimony to the world of a believer's identifciation with Christ and surrendered heart relationship with His Lord and Savior; Lord's Supper is a solemn, glorious, symbolic remembrance of Christ's body being broken and His blood being shed for us (Matt. 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Rom 6:3-5; I Cor. 11:23-32).
